When
selecting a pond liner, there is no doubt the EPDM pond liners are the best
option on the market. For this reason we carry Firestone PondGard EPDM Pond
Liners, the Cadillac of pond liners.
Firestone
PondGard EPDM is the industry standard for 45 mil EPDM, and for good reason.
Firestone PondGard is specially formulated for water gardens. It contains no
algaecides & fire retardants found in roofing EPDM. You can always be sure
that your pond liner is 100% fish safe if your liner has the Firestone PondGard
stamp.
Below are
the key benefits of Firestone Pond Liner:
High flexibility: Firestone EPDM Pond Liners remain
highly flexible even at very low temperatures (down to –45 °C), enabling year
round installation in a variety of climates and terrain.
High elongation: Firestone EPDM Pond Liners can elongate
over 300%, which enables the membrane to stretch and conform to objects in the
subgrade.
Superior weathering resistance: Firestone EPDM Pond
Liners offer unmatched resistance to ultraviolet radiation and ozone.
Quick and easy installation: Firestone EPDM Pond Liners
are available in large seamless panel sizes resulting in fewer field seams and
less installation time.
Low maintenance: Firestone EPDM Pond Liner requires
little or no regular maintenance after installation. The Pond Liner can survive
normal environmental exposure for well over 30
years.
Environmentally
friendly: Firestone EPDM Pond Liner is an inert material with low
environmental impact during production and use. In addition, Firestone’s EPDM
manufacturing facilities have received ISO 14001 certification, a testimony of
the company’s commitment to environmental management
To Calculate Liner
Size:
You will need the Length (L),
Width (W) and Depth (D) of your pond. Be sure to use the deepest part of
your pond for your depth measurement not the average depth.
Liner Length:
2D+L+2
Liner Width:
2D+W+2
EX: A 8x10x4 pond would
require a liner size of: 2(4)+8+2=18' by 2(4)+10+2=20' or
18'x20'
