What are Microbial Products
Microbial products are made up of beneficial bacteria and are used to naturally break down organic waste in both water and soil environments. Beneficial bacteria work by producing specific enzymes that can quickly liquefy various types of organic waste making the waste available for the bacteria to consume and digest. This digestion, in turn, converts the waste primarily into harmless carbon dioxide and water.
Microbial products can be found in both liquid and dry variations. Due to most of our products containing bacteria that are spore-forming, they are able to survive in liquid and dry states, as well as achieving shelf lives of up to 2 years.
Additionally, the bacteria used in our products are also referred to as facultative anaerobes which means they can operate in both aerobic and anaerobic environments to degrade waste, making them highly versatile. Anaerobic bacteria are the culprits behind the rotten egg smell that can emit from ponds and wastewater systems and create all sorts of water quality problems if not properly treated.
As part of the product development process our products undertake, unique combinations of bacteria species are selected and utilized for their ability to degrade specific wastes in specific environments, meaning more effective and efficient treatment. This attention to detail is what separates our products from others.
